About My Multilingual Child
Michelle Cadeau, originally Swedish but living in the US, created My Multilingual Child after realizing the need for a place to exchange information, celebrate our multilingual children and also to create awareness.
Michelle is raising two multilingual children together with her husband James, who is from Haiti. The Cadeau's is a vibrant active family with three sets of cultures, traditions and languages melted in to one.
Michelle has worked with multilingualism for years through her site for Swedish Moms living abroad. She has initiated, created and executed online classes for over 200 women on the subject of multilingualism. Since 2006 Michelle has traveled the world with her seminars in multilingualism. As a Master student at Göteborgs Universitet in Sweden (via online classes) she is learning more about linguistics and by that multilingualism.
